I don’t know about you but to me there’s nothing like the smell of homemade bread filing the house. As a mom of a big family, I love having a super easy and quick and reliable side option to fill out my meal. I adore this recipe because my kids love it and even my pickiest eaters have something they love to eat. Homemade bread makes every meal feel a little more special-even a simple bowl of soup.
My favorite easy bread machine bread recipe:
I have tried a lot of regular bread and bread machine recipes and this one is definitely my favorite. I make this easy bread machine recipe so often I have it memorized! This recipe is my go-to (provided I have remembered to set it up in time lol). My dear friend Erica who also has a large family shared it with me. She makes it every day for sandwiches. I’ve also discovered this recipe can double as a delicious roll recipe.

Notes
Favorite Ways to Enjoy it:
💛 Breakfast: Toasted or sliced and still warm, with butter and honey or jam.
💛Breakfast: Use in breakfast sandwiches.
💛Makes really good French toast, especially if it’s made ahead, or with leftover bread.
💛 Lunch: Make into sandwiches, on the side with leftovers. We turn ours into “pizza bread” quite often. Makes the best grilled cheeses!
💛Dinner: Warm as a side with any dinner. Obviously with soups or stews, but also a staple for us with the standard meat, veg, carb type dinner.
💛Snacks: If there is any bread leftover, you could make cinnamon bread or spread peanut butter on it and add banana. My kids are usually raiding the leftovers and just spread butter on it 🙂
Why this Recipe is My Go-to:
This easy bread machine recipe has become just about our daily bread! I do still buy store-bought bread because I find it hard to keep up and I like to have it as a back-up. But most days I’m making some kind of bread and it’s usually this one.
It’s quick, easy, budget friendly and kid approved. Bread helps fill in the gaps for some meals with picky eaters and it definitely helps fill kids as a part of a healthy meal with protein and vegetables. It makes some meals stretch further for us and that helps with our food budget.
I really hope you all love this recipe as much as I do!
💛Mandy
